Brain Flakes® is suitable for kids age 5+. With our easy clicking mechanism, we've seen kids age 3+ playing with Brain Flakes® under adult supervision. Lots of adults love playing with Brain Flakes® too!

Brain Flakes® may or may not connect with other brands of plastic interlocking plastic discs. Brain Flakes® is patented (Patent no. US 11,123,650 B2) and is easier to connect than other brands. Our library of building instructions and educational material also makes us special.

Brain Flakes® discs only have 1 single shape with 12 colors! You can easily create 2D or 3D designs by clicking them together and forming different shapes following your imagination! We have building instructions and task cards to guide you, and they are great for all families, classrooms, and STEM education! For young kids, you can use them for color sorting, counting, and sensory play! 

Brain Flakes® are made in China with our own mold and patented design, patent US 11,123,650 B2 . Brain Flakes® are made from premium and durable polyethylene (PE) plastic. All of our products are child safe - BPA, lead, heavy metal, and phthalate FREE! With our ongoing testing and factory inspections, Brain Flakes® are 100% safe and compliant with ASTM US CPSIA safety regulations. You can purchase Brain Flakes® from us or through our authorized distributors. 

All the authentic Brain Flakes® jars and bins come with our signature yellow lid and a seal reads "Engineers Start Here™". Authentic Brain Flakes® comes in 12 different colors (red, orange, yellow, light green, dark green, light blue, dark blue, purple, pink, brown, white, and black) with disc measured 1.3" across and 1/10" thick. Our discs have a circular center design with no letters, numbers, or symbols. Most of our discs have "BRAIN FLAKES" logo on them.
